Biography
Hon Justice Adenike Adeeyo (Nee Adekola) attended
- Maryhill Convent School, Idi Ape, Ibadan.
- Queen’s School, Apata, Ibadan, Oyo state.
- Edghill College, Bideford, North Devon, England (o & A levels).
- Middlesex University,Hendon, London,England (1985-1988).
- Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos and was called to Bar 14th December 1989)
She has been able to gather some previous experiences as a Corp member (NYSC) where she served in the Governor’s office, Abeokuta, Ogun state from (3rd October, 1989-2nd October, 1990), also worked at the Prime Merchant bank Ltd-Legal Department (1990-1995), worked at Lagos State Judiciary-Magistrate Grade II- Chief Magistrate I (May 2001-October 2017, and then she moved to Oyo State Judiciary, High Court Judge, October 2017 till date.
She was a member of some Associations which are:
- National Association of Women’s Judge Nigeria (NAWJN).
- Fellow Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC).
- International Dispute Resolution Institute (M.DRI).
- Member National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ)
She has attended some conferences which includes:
- Online Open Course on International Standards on Freedom of expression organized by Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, UNESCO & Oxford University on the 30th June, 2021.
- 5th International Chamber of Commerce Africa Conference on International on International Arbitration organized by international Chamber of commerce Global Events on the 3rd -4th June, 2021.
- 10th Training Course on International Criminal Justice and its Administrative conducted by Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies on the 26th-28th of July, 2016..
- International Dispute Resolution Seminar organized by International Dispute Resolution Institute at Hilton Hotel, New York Midtown on the 6th of October-11th October 2019.
- National Conference on Juvenile Justice, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on the 20th of march, 2016.
- Handling the Criminal Cases: Nigerian Magistrate, organized by the National Judicial college, Reno, Nevada, USA on the 17th of May, 2007.
